Program Name
IndirectTek Operational SMS Alerts
Purpose
IndirectTek LLC operates an internal-only SMS notification program used solely to deliver operational alerts (system health, billing anomalies, security events, on-call escalations) to IndirectTek personnel responsible for responding to those events. No marketing, promotional, or solicitation content is ever sent through this program.
Audience
Recipients are limited to IndirectTek LLC employees and contractors who have been assigned operational or on-call responsibilities for IndirectTek and Elixium infrastructure. The program does not contact customers, partners, prospects, or members of the general public on this number. There is no public, self-service enrollment.
How Recipients Consent (Opt-In)
Phone numbers are added to the alerting roster only after the recipient signs a written acknowledgment during IT/HR onboarding (or, for existing employees, when they assume on-call duties). The acknowledgment form contains the following exact language, which the employee signs (paper or electronic signature via the IndirectTek HR system):
"I consent to receive operational SMS alerts from IndirectTek on the mobile number listed above. I understand that:
- This is an internal IT / operations notification program.
- Message frequency varies — typically zero per day; up to approximately 100 per day during active incidents.
- Message and data rates may apply, charged by my mobile carrier.
- I may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- I may reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact support@indirecttek.com.
Signed: ___________________ Date: _______"
Signed acknowledgment forms are retained in the employee's personnel file for the duration of their employment and at least four years after.
Once enrolled, the first SMS sent to that recipient is a confirmation message describing the program and providing opt-out instructions.
Message Frequency
Highly variable based on operational events. Most days: zero messages. Days with active incidents: up to approximately 100 messages distributed across all enrolled recipients.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier charges for SMS messages apply to all recipients based on their individual mobile plan.
Opt-Out (STOP)
A recipient may opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPTOUT to any message received from the IndirectTek number. Opt-out is processed immediately. The recipient receives one final confirmation message: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe." No further messages will be sent unless the recipient is explicitly re-enrolled by signing a new acknowledgment form.
Help (HELP)
A recipient may reply HELP or INFO to any message to receive program contact information. Recipients may also email support@indirecttek.com for assistance with the program at any time.
Privacy Commitments
IndirectTek LLC will not sell, share, lease, or transfer recipient phone numbers to any third party. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver operational alerts as described in this policy. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
